ComplexCon, the pioneering festival of convergence culture is founded in Long Beach, CA, putting a stake in the ground as the premier event of the year for what's hot and new in culture, featuring exclusive drops from the hottest brands in streetwear, a stacked music line-up, celebrity appearances and more.
Pharrell and Takashi Murakami join as Host Committee of the inaugural event. Music performances over the weekend include Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Migos (who performs their hit song "Bad & Boujee" for the very first time), Travis Scott and Skrillex.
Nike reintroduces the Air Force 1 back into the market and drops the VLone Air Force 1 at the event (which hits the resale market immediately after the event for over $90,000).
BAPE® and Travis Scott collaborate for a highly exclusive, limited-edition, white graphic T-shirt featuring a stylized cartoon version of Travis Scott with the Baby Milo character.
Union Los Angeles pops up with exclusive collaborations with some of streetwear's heavyweights such as NEIGHBORHOOD, Noah, Fear of God, Jordan Brand and U.S. Alterations, as well as from Union's own private label.
UNDEFEATED collaborates with Anti Social Social Club, marking the weekend's biggest drop (which required producing extra product overnight to meet the demand from day one) and is rumored to have done over $1M in sales during the festival.
The inaugural festival attracts more than 35,000 fans and lays the groundwork for a decade of culture-defining moments, brand drops, live performances and panel discussions that will globally transform and shape youth fashion, music, art and beyond for years to come.
